3 THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOUR HEALTH IF YOU WANT TO LIVE LONGER

According to the World Health Organization, the average life expectancy at birth in Nigeria increased from 47.19 in year 2000 to 53.41 in 2015.  This improvement might appear significant but, when you compare this with what obtains in some countries like Canada where average life expectancy at birth as at 2015 was 84.13 and Japan with average life expectancy of 86.87 as at 2015 also, you will certainly agree with me that there is still so much that we need to do in this part of the world.

Over the years, it has been observed that effective vaccines and medicines have helped fight diseases that could otherwise cut a person’s life short. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), science has helped extend the average person’s life span by nearly three decades during the last century.

As at today, there are several research findings and some still ongoing in the aspect of longevity. In fact, scientists now believe that it is possible to actually stop people growing old as quickly and help them live in good health and longer, even up to 120 years and above.

Professor Gordon Lithgow, a Scottish ageing expert of the Buck Institute for Research on Ageing in California was quoted as saying, “If you target an ageing process and you slow down ageing then you slow down all the diseases and pathology of ageing as well.”

In this write-up, I will be sharing with you something you should know about the new scientific discovery on longevity.

Besides scientific discoveries, if you truly want to be healthier and live longer, you need to pay attention to your lifestyle and dietary choices.

Here are the 3 Things You Should Know About Your Health If You Want to Live Longer:

1.      You Need a Healthy Diet: According to the World Health Organisation, a healthy diet for an adult should contain:

a.       Fruits, vegetables, legumes (e.g. lentils, beans), nuts and whole grains (e.g. unprocessed maize, millet, oats, wheat, brown rice).
b.      At least 400 g (5 portions) of fruits and vegetables a day (2). Potatoes, sweet potatoes, cassava and other starchy roots are not classified as fruits or vegetables.
c.       Less than 10% of total energy intake from free sugars (2, 5) which is equivalent to 50 g (or around 12 level teaspoons) for a person of healthy body weight consuming approximately 2000 calories per day, but ideally less than 5% of total energy intake for additional health benefits (5). Most free sugars are added to foods or drinks by the manufacturer, cook or consumer, and can also be found in sugars naturally present in honey, syrups, fruit juices and fruit juice concentrates.
d.      Less than 30% of total energy intake from fats (1, 2, 3). Unsaturated fats (e.g. found in fish, avocado, nuts, sunflower, canola and olive oils) are preferable to saturated fats (e.g. found in fatty meat, butter, palm and coconut oil, cream, cheese, ghee and lard) (3). Industrial trans fats (found in processed food, fast food, snack food, fried food, frozen pizza, pies, cookies, margarines and spreads) are not part of a healthy diet.
e.       Less than 5 g of salt (equivalent to approximately 1 teaspoon) per day (6) and use iodized salt.

Unhealthy diet is a major contributing factor to reduced quality of life and several health problems. Diseases that are closely related to unhealthy diet are obesity, Type 2 diabetes, heart disease, strokes, dementia and many types of cancer.

2.      You Need High Quality Dietary Supplements: The American National Institute on Aging defined Dietary Supplements as substances you might use to add nutrients to your diet or to lower your risk of health problems, like osteoporosis or arthritis. Even though it is strongly advised to follow the WHO recommendation on healthy diet, but, in order to nourish the body and mind, more is needed than a variety of grains, legumes, and dairy products. As you age, especially when you are 50 and above, dietary supplements are a must if you wish to live much longer.

Studies have shown that, as people age nutrient absorption becomes problematic. Dr. Don Colbert, an internationally known family physician, speaker and author has given 10 reasons why you need high quality dietary supplements. See (https://drcolbert.com/ten-reasons-why-supplements-are-critical-to-your-diet/)

3.      You Must Boost Your Glutathione Level: Besides oxygen, food and water, glutathione is the next essential molecule that you need to be alive. Glutathione (GSH) is a peptide consisting of three key amino acids (L-cysteine, L-glutamic acid, and glycine). Scientists describe it as “The Mother of All Antioxidants” and the ultimate cell protector.  It is the body’s first line of defense and that is why your glutathione level determines how healthy you will live. Glutathione has attracted more researches than vitamin c with over 117,000 peer-reviewed scientific articles published in pubmeb (the USA official online library of medical research).

Recent studies by longevity researchers believe that the level of our glutathione is a predictor of how long we will live. The bad news however is that, once you are above age 21 your glutathione level begins to deplete and medical experts have frowned on the alarming rate of people deficient in glutathione. Deficiency of glutathione has been observed to be the root cause of all known chronic diseases such as cancer, arthritis, stroke, high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, rapid aging, etc.  Things that deplete our glutathione level includes: infections, chronic stress, environmental toxins, genetically modified foods, artificial sweeteners, overuse of antibiotics, poor diets, etc.

However, even though most of these medical experts agree that glutathione is the key to maintaining our cellular health and longevity, the greatest challenge has been how to help raise this miracle molecule in our body. This is because; glutathione is not something that can be produced outside the body.

Again, some nutritional scientists had discovered that there are some natural fruits or foods that contains the precursors (glycine, glutamic and Cysteine) needed by the body to produce glutathione but another problem is that, due to the complex nature of our digestive system, the body does not get the adequate amount of these compound to produce enough glutathione. In fact, Cysteine which is a very fragile precursor for producing glutathione has been the limiting factor because it cannot survive our body’s complex digestive system. It is usually destroyed even before it gets to the cells where it is needed mostly.

But, there is a recent medical breakthrough that is about to transform the whole essence of health and wellness. Dr. Herbert T. Nagasawa, a Professor of Medicinal Chemistry and Toxicology, University of Minnesota, USA) has developed a revolutionary molecule known as RiboCeine that effectively delivers cysteine to the cells to support the natural production of glutathione. Unlike any other glutathione enhancement product in the market, RiboCeine is the only product with documented scientific evidence of how it works in the body.

RiboCeine is a unique molecule that combines ribose and cysteine, nutrients that occur naturally in our bodies. RiboCeine once ingested will be absorbed, enters the bloodstream and delivers cysteine and ribose to the cells, supporting glutathione production as well as providing ribose, an integral part of ATP, our cells’ natural fuel and source of energy.

RiboCeine significantly outperformed other means of glutathione enhancement against which it has been tested. This claim has been validated by over twenty- two scientific studies funded by the American National Institutes of Health and other scientific funding agencies and published in peer-reviewed journals.

This breakthrough technology called RiboCeine is only available at Max International. Max International is today known as the glutathione company and all their glutathione enhancement products has been helping people to address the root causes of most known Non Communicable  Diseases and rapid aging. One of their products that is very unique and something that you need to stay healthy, is called CELLGEVITY.

Cellgevity is a new dietary supplement produced by MAX INTERNATIONAL, using Riboceine and 12 other powerful ingredients. It is a glutathione enhancement supplement that works to remove damaging toxins from the body, increase your energy levels and make you look younger. This unique product is now available in Nigeria, thanks to NAFDAC.

WHY DO YOU NEED CELLGEVITY?
You might be tempted to think that you are very healthy so then you don’t need any medication. Please note, cellgevity is not a drug but an ingredient that your body needs badly to continue producing the ultimate molecule called glutathione.

It is estimated that five billion different types of foreign agents are floating through the air, land, and sea, capable of entering our bodies and wreaking havoc at any time. Every day, along with the air you breathe and the nutrients you ingest, you take in thousands of germs and potentially hazardous chemicals.

All these enemies are right inside your body even now, ganging up and conspiring to launch a massive attack once they notice that your body’s defense system has been compromised. For some people, these enemies could attack through heart disease which most people never recovered from. For others it could be the beginning of diabetes, high BP, cancer, HIV, and other emerging diseases new to the medical field.

Don’t wait until you start drowning to learn how to swim, help your body to continue helping you. Cellgevity is readily available in Nigeria; if you need it, I can help you get it at the company’s wholesale price.
